Then we move on over to the 64 Event room where Chi-Town meets the other Chi-Town.. Chilliwack! A collaboration between veteran Chicago jazz musicians, drummer George Fludas and organist Pete Benson and Vancouver's Cory Weeds on tenor sax and Dave Sikula on guitar. George Fludas has been a prominent member of Chicago's jazz community for 30 years and has been a member of many premier jazz groups, including those led by Ray Brown, Monty Alexander, Diana Krall, Cedar Walton and Joey Defrancesco. He has played in Vancouver as a sideman with Ray Brown in 2001 and Monty Alexander in 2008, and is thrilled to lead his own quartet for this engagement, featuring two of Vancouver's finest musicians!
