About The Crescent Sky
In 2018 married couple Anna Luth & Regan Luth moved from Alberta to Vancouver to pursue visual art and audio-engineering respectively, and reconnected with Anna Ratzlaff (whom Regan and Anna Luth had met previously in Australia) and her husband Jason Ratzlaff. Anna & Jason Ratzlaff met and fell in love while attending music school at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, and were pursuing their own music project as a duo. Over time, the two couples became great friends and began writing music together, which eventually led to the formation of The Crescent Sky.
Each band member is an individually strong songwriter, and together they create music that supports sincere lyrics with the collective strength of soaring harmonies and dynamic instrumentation. Drawing on their extensive musical backgrounds, The Crescent Sky’s music surges with technical intricacies and relatable lyrics that complete their distinct sound. Since forming in 2018, The Crescent Sky has played at the CBC Nooners Concert Series, and was the 2018 recipient of the Abbotsford Arts Council Emerging Artist Arty Award. The group has been nominated for multiple Fraser Valley Music Awards, and placed in the top 100 of CBC's 2019 Searchlight contest.

About Taves Estate Cidery
Farming has been a way of life for the Taves family since the 1930s, when Opa purchased his first farm in the Southlands of Abbotsford. Going into the fourth generation, Taves Family Farms continues to thrive with Loren and Corinne Taves leading the way. The farming operation now grows over 60 acres of produce where they harvest everything from eggplant and heirloom tomatoes, to a variety of currants and berries to apples and pumpkins!
The Taves are excited to share their newest venture with you as they open Taves Estate Cidery–a hard cider tasting barn and picnic area! From April through December, Taves Estate Cidery will be offering growler fills, tasting flights, and unique bottled ciders.
